On 21st April 2019 Anne & Jonathan Winter set out on a 2,500 mile six-month voyage around Great Britain and Ireland aboard yacht Nova. The purpose was not to break records, but to explore the coast and harbours of these islands, including 12 significant ports.
Collaborating with a think-tank called These Islands, they dug deeper into the history and identity of coastal places, inviting authors and historians to write an article for each of twelve ports.
Now these articles and the story of our voyage is available as a book and e-book, produced in support of The Mission to Seafarers, whom they met along the way.
